I specilaized in Cinematography focussing mainly on fiction filmmaking and have went on to shoot many Short Films and series as well as Music Videos.

I enjoy projects that allow me to be creative with both my lighting and camera angles and feel it is important to obtain the 'look' of a project as much as possible in camera, relying on post-production for matching and Visual effects.

I have shot a variety of storylines from emotional dialogue scenes to fight sequences and feel confident I can convey any premise and enhance the emotion of a film to connect with an audience.

Terre Di Cinema: Altitude

I was given the opportunity to attend the CineCampus where we had 35mm film stock to shoot on, being sponsored by Kodak.

The goal of the scheme is to provide multiple challenges to the filmmaker allowing them to develope essential scheduling and problem-solving skills by restricting the amount of film stock provided and only one day to shoot their films.

It is an educational programme allowing the participants to learn practically through the making of ten short films as well as intellectually through the attendance of master classes with award winning Cinematographers.

Taking into consideration the vast amount of limitations and challenges this film presented I am very proud of what I and the crew achieved. We were able to experiment and found creative solutions to these constraints which I believe is the ultimate point of such a scheme and shows a lot of the skill and passion of the filmmakers.

I learned a lot through this programme and the people I met on it.

Cops and Monsters

Cops and Monsters is an independent supernatural web series shot in Scotland.

I shot the first eight episodes, the majority of series one, on various time-sclaes and budgets.
Each episode required various Visual Effects and its own independent visual style within the overall 'world' of the show.

Being a supernatural drama, the story allowed me to experiment and create a distinctive look for each 'zone' and species involved throughout. This is what drew me to the project as each new episode had a different challenge and allowed me to be creative with my lighting and camera angles based on whatever equipment was available to me.

It was shot on RED, then Canon 650 DSLR.

Writer's Block

Writer's Block is a short independent film that was crowd funded.

I shot the opening sequence that would then go on to provide a taster of the film to any potential backers when launching the crowd funding campaign.
